The trends are always changing, whether those be fashion trends, tech trends, or hairstyle trends. What is considered trendy and popular is constantly evolving and changing. Home design is no different. Here are a few of the upcoming trends, from Hybrid Renos, for bathrooms in 2020.
1. Biophilic
This trend is for nature lovers all over the globe. The look puts us in touch with nature at all times. It’s been proven that we are much more efficient at performing, calmer, and more focused when we are surrounded by nature.
2. Statement Tubs and Sinks
Standalone tubs and water basins can be quite the showstoppers. The standalone tub can be installed by a wall, right in the middle of the space, or even in a corner. It all depends on the space you have available. For the washbasins, go for natural, rough-looking materials like stone, concrete, marble, etc. Keep the neutral matte look of the

Terrazzo is a long-lasting material, thus making natural-toned versions of this material favourable. It’s made from a variety of materials, so it has a fragmented texture. It is best to go with small fragmented Terrazzo as opposed to large pieces.
5. Console Style Vanities

It is especially ideal for small spaces as it allows the room to look much bigger and not obstruct the space with a massive looking vanity. Powder rooms benefit most from this trend. If there’s a space where we end up piling up a bunch of products, it is surely the bathroom! To be able to integrate this look, you’ll need to only keep necessities in your space. Given that bathrooms are warm and humid, anything that can “spoil”, like perfume, will need to be stored away.
