1. Biophilic
This trend is for nature lovers all over the globe. The look puts us in touch with nature at all times. It’s been proven that we are much more efficient at performing, calmer, and more focused when we are surrounded by nature. 
A quick way to integrate this trend is to integrate as many plants as you can into the décor of your bathroom. Pick neutral material tiles, opt for a standalone tub and oddly shaped sink to tug inspiration from natural shapes. The colour palette for this trend is to incorporate whites, greys, and greens. For a power room, wallpaper with greenery would be best. Lighting also plays a pretty big role when we connect with nature. Adding a skylight or big windows, if possible, will allow you to mimic natural light found outdoors.
2. Statement Tubs and Sinks
Standalone tubs and water basins can be quite the showstoppers. The standalone tub can be installed by a wall, right in the middle of the space, or even in a corner. It all depends on the space you have available. For the washbasins, go for natural, rough-looking materials like stone, concrete, marble, etc. Keep the neutral matte look of the 
stone is ideal and picking stones with prominent veins is perfectly fine.
3. Simple Shower Doors
If you’re into minimalistic designs, this look is for you. With glass-walled open showers at their height, many bathroom fitting companies went above and beyond to create a variety of minimalistic fittings. They’re all very unique. Choices range from black, gold, copper, brushed or shined. Integrating this trend into your bathroom begins by opting for simple looking bathroom vanity. Unique bathroom fittings should be combined with simple-looking tiling so they can be at the forefront of your designs. It is best to get an open, or glass-walled, shower as well.
4. Terrazzo
Back in 2019, terrazzo was much loved by designers, and for good reason. A mix of natural stones, cement and marble, terrazzo can now be found everywhere; from decorative accessories to counters, backsplashes, and walls. There is no question why terrazzo has stayed in trend for this year as well. The Italian material is never dull with its unlimited colour and material combinations. Terrazzo is a long-lasting material, thus making natural-toned versions of this material favourable. It’s made from a variety of materials, so it has a fragmented texture. It is best to go with small fragmented Terrazzo as opposed to large pieces.
5. Console Style Vanities
2020 is all about console-like vanities as opposed to massive pieces of furniture. It is especially ideal for small spaces as it allows the room to look much bigger and not obstruct the space with a massive looking vanity. Powder rooms benefit most from this trend. If there’s a space where we end up piling up a bunch of products, it is surely the bathroom! To be able to integrate this look, you’ll need to only keep necessities in your space. Given that bathrooms are warm and humid, anything that can “spoil”, like perfume, will need to be stored away.
